NOW We're Talkin' Turkey!

The Broncos and the NFL released a tidbit of scheduling information for the 2006 season today ...

Apparently, the Broncos will be playing on Thanksgiving again this season. But get this - in an interesting twist, the NFL has decided to have 3 games on Thanksgiving day. Detroit and Dallas as usual, of course ... but this year, expect an evening game that lands Denver in the pit of Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City ... The game is to be broadcast by the NFL Network (another first).

Why do I tell you this now? Thank me later, Broncos Optimists and fanatics, but I'd say you need to do some expectation leveling with assorted family members, and I'd say you need to do it sometime soon ... So, tell mom, or grandma, or mom-in-law, or cousin Myrtle or whomever it is in your family who doesn't quite grasp your obsession with Denver Broncos football, that Thanksgiving is once again spoken for. We have our priorities, right? Right.
