We Shocked the Chargers!
It was a squeaker, but we'll take it. The Broncos beat the Chargers 20-17. We had a great day at the game, met some new friends, and cheered heartily. Our seats are right behind the opposing team's bench, so we're always a little dismayed to find ourselves sitting among the enemy's fans. The upside to this was that we collected all of the Bolt fan's pom poms (the Broncos left one on each seat in the stadium). We left with about 20 poms each! The Broncos offense still didn't perform up to expectation, but the defense more than made up for it. Champ Bailey's interception was one of the high points of the game!
So, the Broncs are 1-1, along with the Raiders. SD falls to 0-2 and KC is 2-0. We meet up with KC next Monday night ... I think we'll bring them down to size, too. And tie records with them, whaddya say?
